As Asian American co-founders of WSP, it has taken us a few days to grieve and process the mounting anti-Asian violence that has led to the recent killings of eight people - six of whom were Asian women in Georgia.
Our hearts go out to their loved ones and our Asian American community who shares our pain. It is inspiring and heartening to see the growing number of Asian American voices who are speaking out in this collective effort to defend the vulnerable, condemn acts of violence and stop Asian hate.
Our mission at WSP has always been about truth and knowledge in order to create a more equitable and just future. We hope to continue this conversation to make our Asian family feel seen, to know that our Asian American culture is part of American culture, and to feel safe in this country that we call home.
